Barely 7 months after the death of Ambassador Segun Olusola, the creator of the Village Headmaster series, the management of the Nigerian Television Authority has revamped the rested TV drama, Village Headmaster. Movie Moments gathered that the Television Drama, which reigned supreme in the 80s till early 90s, is currently been shot by brilliant hands in the Nigerian television and film industry.
Further information has it that the palace of the Ojora of Lagos in Ijora, which is currently used as the location set, had been besieged by thespians and klieglights as the TV series, The New Village Headmaster debuts.  The New Village Headmaster, which was produced by NTA but created by late Ambassador Olusegun Olusola had top movie stars like Justus Esiri, Adejumo Lewis, Larry Williams, Melvin Obringo, Albert Kosemani Olayemi, Wole Amele, Aremu Balogun amidst several others, became an instant hit after it hit the screens.
It is unsure if some of the old and living cast like Dejumo Lewis and others are part of the cast but sources say, the producers have employed some of the best hands in the acting world.
